About 1 or 2 months before coming to Japan, I started to feel doubtful about whether or not I wanted to leave Australia. I didn’t want to leave behind my family and friends and everything familiar to venture into the big wide world by myself. I almost didn’t end up coming to Japan, but I decided that I would regret it so much if I didn’t, and that I should stop being childish and just go. Now I am so glad that I did. If I hadn’t come I would never have been able to imagine what I would be missing. Japan has just been so amazing!
